Creating art is an act of self discovery. It is relaxing and energizing all at once. We all have the desire to create within us, its just a matter of giving ourselves the time and space to engage in the process. Inspiration is all around us, in a flower, a shell, a tree, the sky, a color, a word. Its a starting point from which an idea can grow and materialize into a piece of art.

For me, the process of making art is a gift, it is the nourishment of the creative spirit. The art, itself, is a beautiful reminder of having found the time and space to set the creative spirit free.
